President Bola Tinubu on Saturday announced 11 new appointments into various positions across different sectors of the Nigerian economy. With the president’s spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, making the announcement via statements which he said is a record, here is the list of the appointees and their portfolios. 1. Mr. Silas Agara: Director-General of the National Directorate of Employment (NDE). Agara, a former Deputy Governor of Nasarawa State, was the director of the Independent Campaign Council for Tinubu-Shettima. 2. Mr Umar Ibrahim Mohammed: Director-General of the Nigeria Hydrological Services Agency (NIHSA). Mohammed is an architect and a construction technology and environment professional.
