President Bola Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Policy Communication, Daniel Bwala, has rubbished claims made by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, in his recent television interview.
Bwala said El-Rufai made jumbles of incoherent and
disorganized statements aimed at distorting the truth.
In an interview on Arise Television on Monday evening,
El-Rufai had criticized Tinubu and his administration.
He said Tinubu stopped him from becoming minister and not
the National Assembly.
In August 2023, the Senate withheld El-Rufai’s confirmation
as Tinubu’s ministerial nominee, citing security reports from the State
Security Service.
But El-rufai said the “security thing was a good excuse they
used”. “Since then, has anyone released that report telling us the security
issue?,” he asked.
El-Rufai also said he was unsure if he would support the
re-election bid of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.
The former governor pointed out that Tinubu was failing to
meet the expectations reposed in him to take Nigeria to greater heights.
Reacting, Bwala dismissed the claims made by the APC
chieftain in the interview.
Posting on X, Bwala wrote: “@elrufai Mallam El-Rufai’s
interview on Arise news were full of word salad; jumbles of incoherent and
disorganized statements and responses aimed at distorting the truth in other to
re-shape history and patterns.

must be a victim of his ambition. Believe him at your own peril.”
