Former Real Madrid star, Kiko Casilla, has said that the club should make an effort to find out if their star man, Vinicius Jr., is happy in Spain.

He believes the Spanish giants should discuss the offers the Brazilian is reportedly receiving from the Saudi Pro League before rejecting them.

According to him, the club should ask the player about his plans, as it would not be ideal to keep an unhappy player.

Speaking to AS, the former goalkeeper pointed out that he has no idea if the offer from Saudi clubs is genuine.

He believes the club would be making a huge mistake by refusing to talk with the Pro League clubs without first discussing it with the Brazilian.

“If I were the club, I would ask the player. If you have a player who wants to leave, you have to let him go.

“Otherwise, it would be detrimental to the team. I don’t know if the offer is real, but the first thing is to ask him if he wants to listen to the offer or not.

“Now, if I were a player, I would say no. I would stay. I respect the Arab league, but you are at Real Madrid, you are a flagship, young, and you still have many years to give joy. They could come to you again in five years with that offer. You have to stay.”

Reports in Europe and Asia suggest that Vinicius Jr. and his compatriot, Rodrygo, are being targeted by clubs in the Saudi Pro League.

Those clubs are said to be willing to offer massive wages to the Brazilians in an attempt to lure them to Asia.
