A guest lecturer at the annual Lailatul Quadri (Night of Majesty) of the Anwaru-L-Huda League of Nigeria, Garki divisional headquarters, Sheikh Daud AbdulMojeedEleha, has tasked Muslims on observing prayers at the right time.

Sheikh Eleha, who was represented by Sheikh Qomarudeen Yusuf, noted that some of the ways Muslims could renew their faiths in Allah, was to observe prayers at right time, reading the holy Quran as well as fasting. 

In his lecture titled, ‘LailatulQuadr (Night of Majesty): Opportunity to rejuvenate our faith in Allah,’ the cleric also urged the Muslims to always engage in Zikr to seal their faith with God.

The Deputy Imam of the group’s mosque, Ustaz (Pharm.) Abduljelili Kilani, described the night as very important to all Muslims, adding that, ‘’We should know where we were before, where we are now, and where we are going to in terms of our faith.’’ 

He advised Muslims to be careful on the way they acquired wealth, warning that, ‘’The Almighty Allah will ask everyone on the day of judgementabout how we accumulate our wealth and how it’s been spent.’’

The chairman of the occasion – Chief (Dr.), Rauf Abiodun Oladipo, congratulated the Muslims on this year’s Ramadan fasting and asked them to take advantage of the Night in order to have its full reward.

The chairperson of the occasion, AlhajaSuliat Iyabo Usman, also thanked the Almighty for making it possible to witness this year’s LailatulQuadr and advised all parents, especially mothers, to take proper care of their children and give them sound Islamic education.
