A 21-year-old man, Ochama Musa, on Thursday, appeared before a Kubwa Magistrates’ Court in Abuja, over alleged stealing.

The defendant is standing trial on a two-count charge of criminal trespass and stealing, the offences he pleaded not guilty to.

The prosecutor, Mr John Okpa, told the court that the defendant committed the offence on Jan. 21.

He alleged that he unlawfully entered into the compound of one Mr Emmanuel Ejeh, the complainant, to steal household items.

The magistrate, Nneaka Lesley, granted the defendant bail in the sum of N200,000 with one surety in like sum and adjourned the case till March 17, for hearing. (NAN)
