The colour options and optional colours on offer with the Slavia are identical to the Kushaq. The entry-level Slavia Classic is also available in Candy White, Brilliant Silver, Tornado Red and Carbon Steel as standard, but Skoda will charge a Rs 10,000 premium for the Lava Blue finish. The top-spec Slavia Prestige is also on offer with a total of 6 monotone and 2 dual-tone colour options as standard, with the Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver Dual Tone and Lava Blue Dual Tone being optional extras.
Due to the select colour options costing a premium, the Skoda Slavia's price range now stands between Rs 10.34 lakh-18.34 lakh. It was with the introduction of the Kylaq, the first rightly priced Skoda, that the brand began charging a sperate amount for certain colours.
Both models continue to be offered with the 115hp, 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine that has 6-speed manual and torque convertor automatic options, and the 150hp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine, which comes with a 7-speed dual-clutch auto gearbox as standard.
This is going to be a launch-heavy year for Skoda as it plans to launch more than a few new models in India. The new Skoda Kodiaq is due in April, and the Octavia RS and Octavia diesel are also expected by September this year. Further, to celebrate the brand’s 25th anniversary in India, Skoda Kushaq and Slavia Anniversary Editions are planned.
