Mahindra Thar Roxx showroom

The Mahindra Thar Roxx is highly popular among Indian buyers, even more than six months after its August 2024 launch. To keep up with the demand, Mahindra ramped up Thar and Thar Roxx production in February, with over 9,000 combined units of both SUVs now rolling off the assembly line every month in a 30:70 split. This has helped reduce waiting periods for most Thar Roxx variants, although delivery times for certain trims have stayed the same or even increased.

  1. Thar Roxx AX7L diesel 4x4 trims waiting time drops to 12 months
  2. Entry-level Thar Roxx MX1 variant still has 18-month waiting period
  3. Mahindra Thar 3-door waiting times stand between 2.25-9 months
