Hyundai Creta Electric Top Model

The 473km-range Hyundai Creta Electric Long Range (LR) models account for 77 percent of total bookings made since its January launch. The remaining 23 percent of registrations came from the Creta EV Standard Range (SR) variants, which have a range of 390 kilometres. Hyundai has sold 2,696 units of the all-electric Creta SUV so far.

Rs 21.50 lakh to Rs 24.38 lakh; 473km range

Bookings for the Hyundai Creta Electric Long Range are split between models without and with an 11kW home charger (sold separately for Rs 73,000). The range-topping Excellence LR variant with the charger saw the highest 54 percent of bookings, followed by Smart (O) LR with 4 percent. 

Whereas, the charger devoid Excellence LR trim saw 16 percent bookings and the Smart (O) LR variant got 3 percent. According to the bookings data, a majority of Creta EV buyers preferred having the electric SUV with the home charger.

Creta Electric 42kWh Standard Range variants

Rs 18 lakh to Rs 20.88 lakh; 390 km range

The Premium and Smart (O) Standard Range variants with the home charger brought in 6 percent and 3 percent bookings, respectively. The slightly fewer bookings in comparison might be due to the added charger cost. Also, it rivals the competitively priced Tata Curvv EV Medium Range (Rs 17.49 lakh to 19.29 lakh), which features a larger 45kWh battery pack. 

Among those units without a charger, the Premium variant secured 6 percent registrations and the Smart (O) variant got 3 percent. The Executive and Smart trims received 2 percent registrations each.

Atlas White most booked at 29 percent

Hyundai Creta Electric colours

Out of the total 10 paints on offer, Atlas White remained the most popular colour choice with the Hyundai Creta BEV (battery electric vehicle), responsible for 29 percent of bookings. Abyss Black followed with 17 percent, while the dual-tone Ocean Blue and Abyss Black combo secured 15 percent. Others included Ocean Blue monotone (11 percent) and matte (9 percent), and Atlas White and black combo (9 percent). 

Less common paints included Starry Night and Titan Grey Matte (both 3 percent each), Robust Emerald Matte (2 percent) and Fiery Red (1 percent).
