Like it did with the Celerio recently, Maruti Suzuki has silently updated another one of its Arena models, the Brezza, with six airbags across the range. The Maruti Brezza did have six airbags in its top-spec ZXI+ form, which means that other than the range-topper, all other variants see a price hike.

Before the update to its safety kit, the Maruti Brezza came with dual front airbags as standard, with only the range-topping ZXI+ getting side and curtain airbags. With the addition of four more airbags, the price of the entry-level Brezza LXI trims has risen by up to Rs 15,000. Meanwhile, the price hike for the VXI and ZXI trims is a lower Rs 5,000 and Rs 11,000, respectively.
One of Maruti's answer to the likes of the Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Kia Syros and other compact SUVs (including the brand's own Fronx), is available in a total of 11 variants, with just the ZXI and ZXI+ getting dual-tone exterior options. On sale with a 100hp, 1.5-litre petrol engine and an 88hp CNG option – the former can be optioned with a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox – the Brezza is now priced between Rs 8.69 lakh and Rs 14.14 lakh.
