During the Auto Expo 2025, the new Tiago EV at Tata Motors stall drew much attention. The 2025 Tiago EV packs quite a few exterior and interior upgrades, while the mechanicals are untouched. Interestingly, the range also sees an improvement despite the output being the same. Towards the end, we also have the Tiago EV ex-showroom price list for you. Let’s dive in to discover more about the electric Tiago.
At the front, halogen lights have been replaced by LED units and the ‘.EV’ badge on the grille is gone. Similarly, the signature blue strip that ran under the closed-off nose has been replaced by a silver one. But the most noticeable difference is seen towards the air dam with slanting lines merging in the middle to make a triangle.
Only change visible on the the side profile has to be the placement of ‘.EV’ badge on the front doors instead of the fenders; roof-mounted shark fin antenna is also new. Apart from the blacked-out ‘Tiago EV’ badge, the rear profile is unchanged.
A new Chill Lime paint, also seen at the Auto Expo, is added. Other color options on offer with the Tiago EV are Pristine White, Daytona Grey, Teal Blue, Arizona Blue and Supernova Copper.
The main focus inside is towards the dashboard featuring a bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Also new is the two-spoke steering wheel, which looks identical to the one in the Tata Punch EV. The driver’s display has also been made fully digital and just like the exterior, the Tata EV-specific blue accents are replaced with silver surrounds, especially around the AC vents and MID. The color scheme of the upholstery has been changed from white to a combination of grey and black.
Talking about new safety features, the Tiago EV gets smartphone connectivity for telematics, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill hold control, electronic stability program (ESP) and rear view camera with guidelines.
