Lexus has taken the wraps off a unique Surf LX SUV concept based on its flagship LX SUV. The concept has been shown at the World Surf League event in Hawaii to celebrate Lexus' partnership with the World Surf league.
The one-off Surf LX's exterior is inspired by the ocean; it gets a matte blue body and a contrasting white roof. It has unique black accents all around, a rear ladder with illumination, a custom “exo cage” and a specially designed roof rack. The concept rides on specially designed 20-inch alloy wheels that come with 33-inch all terrain tyres.
It gets tan leather seats and all the features that are standard on the LX SUV. Additionally, the cargo area gets a slide-out floor, drawers for storage and a specially designed rack for surfboards. It also gets a waxing table and a cooler.
There aren’t any changes to the engine, which means the SUV continues with the same 409hp, 3.4-litre V6 petrol engine.
As part of the partnership with World Surf League, Lexus will be the title partner for multiple events that include Pipe Pro, Trestle Pro, US open of Surfing and the WSL finals.
While the Surf LX won’t go into series production, Lexus revealed the facelifted LX SUV a few months ago. The brand showcased the pre-facelift LX in India at the Auto Expo 2025 along with a few other concepts and existing models.
