The next-gen Hyundai Venue has been spotted testing in India for the first time. The compact SUV has been undergoing testing overseas for some time now and is expected to debut this year. Autocar India can confirm that the next-gen Venue will launch in India by October 2025.
A newly-surfaced spy shot of a next-gen Venue test mule shows off a few key differences compared to the current model. The familiar boxy design is retained on the new Venue, but looks to be a bit more upright, and the tail-lamps are expected to sport an all-new design. The headlights and front grille will see significant revisions as well, resulting in a revamped design for the next-gen Venue that will bring the compact SUV more in line with the current Creta and Alcazar.
Another area where the upcoming Hyundai Venue will be revamped is the interior, complete with a thoroughly redesigned dashboard. Features like an ADAS suite and 360-degree cameras will expectedly be available as well, considering many of the Venue's competitors have begun offering them.
As per our previous reporting, the next-gen Venue won't feature any major changes under the hood. The 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol, and 1.5-litre diesel engines of the current model are expected to be brought forward to the new Venue as well.
The current generation of the Hyundai Venue has been on sale since 2019 and was last updated with a facelift in 2022. Given that Hyundai model cycles typically span 6 years, an October 2025 launch would be appropriately timed for the next-gen model. Mass-production for the new Venue is expected to begin this year at Hyundai's Talegaon plant in Maharashtra.
