Frost blue shade on the Syros is one of the popular choices.

The soon-to-be-launched Kia Syros' top two variants are seeing more bookings than the rest of its line-up, thanks to unique featuers like rear seat ventilation among other equipment, according to dealers. Bookings for the Kia Syros have crossed the 10,000 mark ahead of its February 1 price announcement.  Kia’s second compact SUV for India, the Syros made its public appearance at the Auto Expo earlier this month.

Kia Syros popular variants

Apart from rear seat ventilation, the top two Kia Syros variants, HTX+ and HTX (O) come with features like ADAS, a 360 degree camera, additional parking sensors and a blind spot monitor. Additional features on these variants include 17-inch alloy wheels, dual tone interiors, leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, dual 12-3-inch screens for infotainment and instrumentation and an 8-speaker sound system among others.

The second popular variant choice for the customers has been the Syros HTK+ variant that gets a panoramic sunroof, push button start cruise control, drive mode and traction modes.

The Syros has been introduced with a 1.0-liter turbo petrol or a 1.5-liter diesel engine.  Dealers tell us that a rough booking split could be of around 60-40 with a majority of buyers opting for the petrol automatic which comes with a DCT.  For diesel as well, a big chunk of bookings are being made for the automatic variant which comes with a torque convertor.

Kia Syros popular colours

Popular colour choices on the Syros include the Frost Blue as the top choice followed by Glacier White pearl at most outlets. Deliveries for the Syros are expected to commence by mid-February at major cities and by end of the month in tier 2 cities.
