Kia showcased the Carnival Hi Limousine at the Auto Expo 2025 alongside the Syros which made its first public debut and the updated EV6. The Carnival Hi Limousine that is on display at the event, has been prepared by Kia India to gain customer feedback for a potential launch.
The Carnival Hi Limousine on display at the Auto Expo in India has been specially made by Kia India for the event. While the Hi Limousine package on the Carnival has been available globally since a few years, the latest gen of the MPV is yet to get one. This means, India is the first market where a Carnival Hi Limousine was showcased in “concept” form.
The most evident addition to the Carnival Hi Limousine is the extended roof which is not seen on the standard iteration. The added height gives more room for the second and third row passengers and also allows the MPV to pack in more features like ambient mood lighting with starlight theme on the roof and a large 25.7 inch Andorid TV among others. Additionally it gets more woodgrain bits on the inside, wood patterned floor and special suede like material for headliner, sun visors and pillars. The seats get neck cushions and on the outside, this MPV concept gets side steps and unique black pearl exterior paint finish.
There are no mechanical changes as such which means this Carnival Hi Limousine continues with the same 2.2-liter diesel with six-speed automatic as the standard MPV. If Kia decides to launch Carnival Hi Limousine in India, it will be rivaling the MG M9 electric MPV and also the more expensive Toyota Vellfire.
