Hero Xoom 125 price Rs 86,900, launch, design, variants

Hero has finally launched the Xoom 125, with prices starting at Rs 86,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Xoom 125 is available in 2 variants - VX and ZX - just like its practical sibling, the Destini 125, which was launched a few days ago.

  1. Xoom 125 uses same engine as Destini 125
  2. Runs on 14-inch wheels, like Aprilia SR 125
  3. Deliveries begin by March

Powering the Xoom 125 is the same engine that's seen on the Destini 125 and the 124cc, single-cylinder motor is rated for 9hp and 10.4Nm of torque here as well. Where the Xoom 125 differs from the Destini is that it runs on 14-inch wheels at both ends, similiar to the Aprilia SR 125. And since the Xoom 125 sits in Hero's sporty scooter family, it has sharp, angular styling like its other siblings.

The Xoom 125 gets a digital display that can be connected to your smartphone via Bluetooth for standard-issue features such as call/notification alerts and turn-by-turn navigation. The Xoom 125 becomes the first scooter to go on sale in India to get sequential turn indicators, similiar to some high-end luxury cars. Bookings begin in February and deliveries in March, for the Xoom 125.
