The Tata Nexon competres with the likes of the Skoda Kylaq, Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet and Hyundai Venue in the sub-compact SUV segment. Tata's SUV is still a competitvely priced offering compared to its rivals with a couple of powertrains on offer. However, a naturally aspirated petrol engine would complete the Nexon lineup and may open the gates for better pricing at the lower end.
