The 2025 edition of the Bharat Mobility Global Expo is just a couple of days away, and we bring you the complete list of all the confirmed motorcycles and scooters, both petrol and electric, which will be at the show.
Ampere has launched the New Magnus Neo to replace the outgoing Magnus EX. Magnus Neo is visually quite similar to the other variants, save for a dual-tone paint scheme. It is powered by a 2.3kWh LFP battery, and Ampere claims a real-world range of 70-80 km on a single charge. The brand will showcase the newly launched Magnus Neo along with its other offerings at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025.
Ather, too, will showcase its full range of scooters. The entry point to Ather’s line-up is the Rizta S, priced at Rs 1.10 lakh, while the 450 Apex is the brand’s flagship model, commanding Rs 1.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Bengaluru).
The Pune-based company will also be present with its entire line-up, including the recently launched Chetak 3501 and a couple of flex-fuel models.
BMW will be launching the updated S 1000 RR and the R 1300 GSA.
The supersport gets the redesigned fairing and winglets, but it remains mechanically unchanged. The R 1300 GSA is loaded with electronic rider aids, along with a whole host of radar-assisted ones, as well as BMW’s ASA (Automated Shift Assistant), which eliminates a physical clutch lever. We expect the updated bikes to be more expensive.
Apart from these two, the company will showcase a diverse range of models from its line-up, including the M 1000 XR, R 1300 GS, F 900 GS, F 900 GSA, R 12 nineT, the G 310 trio, and the CE 02 and CE 04 electric scooters.
India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer will definitely mark its presence at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo, where it is going to launch two bikes and two scooters.
First on the list is the Xpulse 210. The biggest change to the updated Xpulse over the outgoing Xpulse 200 is the new motor from the Karizma XMR. We expect it to be priced at Rs 20,000-Rs 30,000 more than the 200 upon its launch.
Another motorcycle set to be launched is the Hero Xtreme 250R, which will debut a new engine based on the mill that powers the Karizma XMR. The Xtreme is expected to cost somewhere in the Rs 2 lakh ballpark.
Then, there’s the Xoom 160, the brand’s maxi scooter powered by a liquid-cooled, 156cc, single-cylinder engine making 14hp and 13.7Nm. This scooter will compete with the Yamaha Aerox 155 and the Aprilia SXR 160, marking Hero’s entry into uncharted territory. It remains to be seen where the Xoom 160 will be positioned in the market.
Hero’s electric subsidiary, Vida, will also participate in the show, and the Vida Z, first showcased at EICMA 2024, will be launched. It is expected to be the most affordable Vida model.
Honda is set to launch its duo of electric scooters, the Activa e: and QC1, at the show.
Powering the Honda Activa e: is a pair of 1.5kWh batteries, which can be swapped out at Honda’s Power Pack Exchanger e: battery swapping stations. The claimed IDC range on a single charge is 102km. These batteries send power to a swingarm-mounted motor that makes 6kW and 22Nm.
The QC1, which comes with a fixed battery, is built to be a cost-effective scooter. It has a hub-mounted motor making 1.8kW and a 1.5kWh lithium-ion battery. The claimed range is 80km, and the top speed is 50kph.
Honda will also display its range of higher-capacity motorcycles. The CB650R and CBR650R have been teased on the company’s social media platforms, and we expect a launch in the coming days, perhaps even at the expo.
Ola will display its entire line-up of electric scooters, and it could also showcase its electric bikes, the Roadster X and the Roadster. Deliveries for the Ola electric bikes and the S1 Z and Gig e-scooters are slated to commence this year.
This Bengaluru-based startup will showcase its updated Indie e-scooter. The Indie recently got an update to its final drive, which changed from a belt drive to a chain drive. Another change is the addition of a reverse gear, along with two new colours: grey and white.
Suzuki is expected to display the recently updated range of its 150cc and 250cc bikes, and it could also launch the updated Access 125 scooter, which has been spotted testing for quite some months now. Joining these made-in-India small-capacity products will be the company’s big bikes.
We expect TVS to showcase its recently unveiled RT-XD4 engine, which will be the base for the company’s upcoming models. TVS had also showcased four custom motorcycles based on the Ronin at the 2024 edition of the TVS MotoSoul. These motorcycles might also be shown at the expo. The company will display its electric line-up under the iQube banner.
Incorporated in 2017, this Vietnamese brand is known for its premium electric cars. However, in its home market, it also sells a range of electric scooters, which it could showcase at the show. 2025 will see VinFast’s debut at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo. Last year in India, VinFast also registered a design trademark for its Klara S electric scooter, which could be launched here.
