As is the case every January, dealerships across the nation will be looking to move older MY2024 stock and, in the case of Maruti’s Arena network, the discounts and benefits are even larger than those offered in December 2024. There are significant offers – including cash discounts and an exchange or scrappage bonus – on select MY2025 inventory as well, so without further ado, here’s how much you could save on your new Maruti Arena model.

Save up to Rs 70,000 on MY2024 stock; up to Rs 45,000 on MY2025 stock
Compared to last month, the maximum discount on the Swift has increased by about Rs 10,000, with up to Rs 70,000 off on MY2024 LXi, ZXi AMT, and ZXi+ AMT variants. Other trims made in the previous year get up to Rs 65,000 in benefits. Even MY2025 Swift models get discounts up to Rs 45,000 on the AMT variants, while the manual ones, including those with the factory-fit CNG kit, get up to Rs 40,000 off.
The fourth-gen Swift had launched in India in May last year, and while our review found the new hatchback boasted of sporty handling, light controls and the new 82hp, 1.2-litre Z Series delivers impressive fuel efficiency, the engine lacks punch and its price tag overlaps with the Baleno. The Swift is currently priced between Rs 6.49 lakh and 9.45 lakh. Maruti introduced the Swift CNG in September, which costs Rs 8.20 lakh-9.20 lakh.
Save up to Rs 65,000 on MY2024 stock; up to Rs 50,000 on MY2025
Discounts on the Alto K10, which shares the same petrol engine with the Celerio, available during December are to the tune of Rs 65,000, which is applicable on the AMT variants. The petrol-manual and CNG versions have benefits to the tune of Rs 60,000. The MY2025 Alto K10 range has the same discounts as the Celerio range; both hatchbacks share the 1.0-litre engine that makes 67hp on petrol and 57hp on CNG. The Alto K10’s price range is Rs 3.99 lakh-5.96 lakh.
Save up to Rs 65,000 on MY2024 stock; up to Rs 50,000 on MY2025
During this month, Maruti’s smaller tall-boy hatchback, the S-Presso, has the same level of discounts and benefits as the Alto K10, marking a Rs 18,000 increase over last month’s total offers. The hatchback also shares its three-cylinder engine with the Alto K10, and is priced between Rs 4.27 lakh-6.12 lakh.
Save up to Rs 63,000 on MY2024 stock; up to Rs 50,000 on MY2025
The Celerio is available with discounts that are about Rs 18,000 more than last month, with the AMT versions getting up to Rs 63,000 off. The petrol-manual and CNG versions have benefits up to Rs 58,000 during this month. MY2025 Celerios with the AMT option have benefits up to Rs 50,000, while others get up to Rs 45,000 off. The Celerio shares its 67hp, 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine with the Wagon R and a couple of other Maruti hatchbacks. It is currently priced between Rs 5.37 lakh-7.05 lakh.
Save up to Rs 60,000 on MY2024 stock; up to Rs 45,000 on MY2025
Discounts on Maruti’s popular tall-boy hatchback have increased up to Rs 20,000, and the top-spec VXi AMT variant now gets up to Rs 60,000 off, regardless of the engine option. CNG variants have benefits to the tune of 52,000, while the petrol-manual variants have discounts up to Rs 55,000. Similar to the MY2024 models, MY2025 models with the AMT gearbox get discounts to the tune of Rs 45,000, while the other trims get up to 40,000 off. The Wagon R is on sale with 67hp, 1.0-litre petrol; 57hp, 1.0-litre CNG; and 90hp, 1.2-litre petrol engine options, and is currently priced between Rs 5.55 lakh-7.21 lakh.
Save up to Rs 40,000 on previous-gen model
While there is only a scrappage bonus of up to Rs 25,000 available on the fourth-gen Dzire, the previous-gen model has total benefits up to Rs 40,000 on the AMT variants, up to Rs 35,000 on the petrol-manual trims, and just the Rs 25,000 scrappage bonus on the CNG ones. The previous model is powered by the 90hp, 1.2-litre four-cylinder K Series engine, which was replaced by the 82hp, 1.2-litre three-cylinder Z Series unit with the fourth-gen. The new Dzire was launched in November last year and is priced between Rs 6.79 lakh-10.14 lakh, while the previous model’s last recorded price (in October) was Rs 6.57 lakh-9.34 lakh.
