Matter has successfully completed 1,868km across Gujarat with its Aera two-wheeler, aiming to highlight sustainable mobility and demonstrate the capabilities of its vehicle. This journey is the first chapter of the Aerathon Bharat, and the company plans future journeys across other states.
The journey was flagged off from the Statue of Unity in Gujarat and concluded in Ahmedabad. The intention behind it was to explore the beauty and culture of Gujarat while also highlighting and promoting sustainable mobility. It spanned the entire state of Gujarat, covering the western coast as well.
The company used the Aera for this journey, a unique electric two-wheeler with a claimed range of 125km and a 4-speed gearbox. The Aera visited popular cities such as Modhera, Patan, Dwarka, Porbandar, Somnath, Diu, Bhavnagar, and Ahmedabad. Matter also took the Aera to unique locations such as the Indo-Pak border at Nadabet, the union territory of Diu, and the forests of Gir.
The company claims it intends to conduct a nationwide journey that will span 25,000km and cover 25 states. Additionally, Matter says it’ll pay tribute to its latest journey by planting 1,868 trees in the Sundarbans.
