Royal Enfield has announced the expansion of its pre-owned motorcycle business called REOWN which was launched in 2023 in select locations. This service is now available in 236 cities across India and aims to provide a platform for buying, selling, and exchanging pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycles.
REOWN will now operate through 475 dealerships across 24 states, offering a platform for buying, selling, and exchanging motorcycles with certified checks, refurbishment, a 12-month warranty, and exchange benefits for upgrading to new Royal Enfield models. As part of this initiative, the company has introduced a loyalty program that includes exchange benefits for customers upgrading from a pre-owned Royal Enfield motorcycle to a new one under the RE-to-RE program.
Speaking on the expansion, Yadvinder Singh Guleria, Chief Commercial Officer of Royal Enfield, said the initiative reflects the company’s efforts to offer a convenient and transparent platform for motorcycling enthusiasts. He emphasized that expanding REOWN to 236 cities within a year demonstrates Royal Enfield’s commitment to enhancing accessibility and customer experience.
The REOWN platform provides both in-store and online options for buying, selling, or exchanging Royal Enfield motorcycles. Customers can schedule free inspections for their motorcycles online, and the process is supported by partnerships with companies like Adroit Auto, SAMIL, and Instabid, which facilitate exchanges of non-Royal Enfield motorcycles.
Every motorcycle sold through REOWN undergoes over 200 technical and mechanical checks and is refurbished using genuine parts at authorized service centres. Certified pre-owned motorcycles come with a 12-month warranty and two complimentary services, ensuring quality and reliability for customers.
This expansion highlights Royal Enfield’s focus on offering trusted solutions for pre-owned motorcycles, catering to the increasing demand among riding enthusiasts across India.
