Bengaluru: The 2019 Karnataka State Film Awards were announced on Wednesday, January 22, bringing joy to fans of actor Kiccha Sudeep, who bagged the Best Actor award for his performance in the movie Pailwaan.
Anupama Gowda won the Best Actress award for her role in the film Trayambakam.
The awards, delayed due to the pandemic, were finally announced after a gap of six years. A total of 180 films were submitted for consideration this year.
