Rashmika Mandanna, who has gained immense popularity after the success of Pushpa 2, is all set to make waves in Bollywood once again with her latest project.
The actress will be seen portraying the role of a traditional Marathi queen in the historical drama Chhava.
The first look of Rashmika from the film was recently unveiled, leaving fans excited. In the poster, Rashmika is dressed in a silk saree, gold jewelry, a traditional nath (nose ring), and green bangles, perfectly embodying the essence of Maharashtra’s royal heritage.
The film revolves around the life of Chhatrapati Sambhaji, the son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Rashmika essays the role of Yesu Bai, Sambhaji’s wife, while Vicky Kaushal plays the titular role of Chhatrapati Sambhaji.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and directed by Laxman Utekar, the film’s music has been composed by the legendary A.R. Rahman. Chhava is set to release on February 14, promising to be a cinematic treat for history enthusiasts and fans alike.
