The Udupi district administration has received reports of pamphlets being distributed among public offering them assistance to procure government loan schemes. A statement issued by the Deputy Commissioner’s office has clarified that the district administration is not responsible for these activities.
These pamphlets, distributed around Malpe and neighboring areas, feature two mobile numbers and urge people to contact them for loans under various central and state government schemes. However, it has been found that these pamphlets lack the necessary authorization, including the name and address of the distributing entity.
The district administration has warned the public not to engage with these materials or provide any documents, emphasizing that they are not officially sanctioned.
