T. Satish Shetty has been unanimously elected as the President, and Afzal Saheb B. as the Vice-President, of the Kemmannu Ganapathi Cooperative Society for the next five-year term. This marks Shetty’s fifth consecutive term as President, highlighting his leadership and dedication to the society’s growth.

During Shetty’s tenure, the society’s deposits grew from ₹9 crore to an impressive ₹118 crore by 2024, coinciding with the society’s centenary celebrations. His efforts have significantly contributed to the overall progress and development of the organization.

The society celebrated its centenary in 2024 with a grand “Shatabhivandanam” program attended by retired Lokayukta Justice N. Santosh Hegde, entrepreneur Tonse Ashok Pai, and Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Bank President K. Rajendra Kumar, along with other dignitaries, members, and the public. The society’s community-oriented initiatives during the event received widespread appreciation.

The newly elected board members for the next term include Umesh AmIn, Purushotham Salyan, Shyam N., Raghavendra Prasad, T. Gopal Krishna, Harish Shetty, Aneesh, Leni Fernandes, Latha P. Rao, Lakshmi, and Veronica Cornelio.
