Vijayapura: Masked robbers broke into a house in Jainapur Layout on the night of Wednesday, January 15, and attacked two residents with knives before looting valuables.

CCTV footage captured the robbers fleeing the scene. The masked robbers, armed with knives and sharp weapons, were seen breaking the door and entering the house. The footage also shows them walking near the house before opening the gate and entering inside.

Following the incident, police launched an operation in the intervening night of Thursday-Friday, during which they apprehended a suspect hailing from Madhya Pradesh, after a gunfire exchange.
