The Bantwal Taluk-level children’s art competition “Chinnara Banna-2024,” organized by Udayavani newspaper in collaboration with Udupi Artists Forum, was held successfully on Saturday, November 2, at Sparsha Kalamandir in B.C. Road.
The inaugural event featured Rotary Zonal Lieutenant Raghavendra Bhat Hokkadigoli, Sparsha Kalamandir head Subhash Chandra Jain, and Udupi Artists Forum member Rajendra Kedige. Over a thousand students participated, bringing their creative imaginations to life with vibrant colors. Udayavani’s regional manager, Satish Manjeshwar, also attended the event.
Key sponsors included the Dakshina Kannada District Central Cooperative Bank, Hangyo Ice Cream, Campco, Modern Kitchens, and Jayalakshmi Silks, Bannanje, Udupi. Local support came from Guru Communications, Hokkadigoli, and Velankani Arrangers, Baddakatte, Bantwal. NSS students from B. Mooda Government Pre-University College also contributed their efforts to the event, helping ensure its smooth execution.
