Mangaluru: The 32nd annual “Mangaluru Ganeshotsava,” organized by the Hindu Yuva Sene, concluded successfully on Friday at Nehru Maidan, Mangaluru.

The closing ceremony of the week-long festivities featured various religious and cultural events in the evening. After the event, a grand procession of Lord Vinayaka’s idol commenced from Shivaji Mantapa.

Various tableaux and still exhibits representing different branches of the Hindu Yuva Sene participated in the procession.

The idol’s procession started from Nehru Maidan, passed through Clock Tower, Hampankatta Circle, K.S. Rao Road, Navabharath Circle, Dongerakeri, and finally reached the Mahamayi Kere at the Venkatramana Temple on Car Street, where the idol immersion took place. Thousands of devotees participated in the vibrant procession, marking the end of the festival.
