The unusual pattern of the duct is in the front of the Balajis Restaurant, Hill Road, Bandra. The user elaborated in the post by saying "Double-Decker Footpaths of Mumbai. This is in front of Balajis Restaurant, Hill Road, Bandra. Thank you, my BMC. Thank you for free invitations for innocent citizens, schoolchildren, the elderly, etc to trip and have a nasty fall. While sharing a picture on X, the user expressed gratitude to the The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) but also highlighted a serious concern. He said that the current condition of the road presents a free invitation for innocent citizens, including schoolchildren and the elderly, to trip and potentially suffer serious falls. The photo shows the difference in elevation between the road and the footpath, as well as the unusual contour of the drainage duct, emphasising the hazardous situation.

In response, the user criticized the situation, saying, "This is a reckless design. If anything happens to citizens because of this absurd masterpiece, you will be held responsible."

A user explained the situation by saying, "I just wanted to ask all of you none of your people have ever walked on a sidewalk, right? That’s the only explanation for this masterpiece of construction. Perhaps corruption and incompetence could also explain it, but hey, you do you!"
