Morena (Madhya Pradesh): A fair will be held on the Enti Mountain on the occasion of Shanischari Amavasya on March 28 and 29. The history of this fair is very old.
Lakhs of people from different parts of the country visit this fair. Collector Ankit Asthana has appointed additional collector CB Prasad and additional superintendent of police as nodal officers for the fair.
It will be held at the Shani temple located on the Enti Mountain, four km from the Shanichara railway station.
According to sources in the district administration, nearly six lakh devotees will visit the fair to get the blessings of Lord Shani. The historical documents say that the Shani temple on Enti Mountain belongs to Treta Yuga.
There is a saying that Lord Shani blesses his devotees with all the happiness of life.
This is the reason that a large number of people visit this place every year on the occasion of Shanichari Amavasya. (box) TL meeting ends Collector Ankit Asthana has directed the officials to dispose of the long-pending complaints with valid reasons.
The number of complaints kept for TL meeting should not be more than 50. The collector also directed the officials to keep a tab on the social media posts.
An objectionable post on social media may disturb peace and communal harmony in the district, so the officials should be aware of it, he said.
Chief executive officer of district Panchayat Kamlesh Kumar Bhargava, additional collector CB Prasad, commissioner of Nagar Nigam Satyendra Dhakad and other officials were present at the meeting.
