While the last year's Arjit Singh's conert was a treat for music lovers, it turned out to be a nightmare for traffic authorities. Now to avoid the traffic congestion, Pimpri Chichwad Traffic Police have issued traffioc advisory announcing closed roads and alternbates routes.

On March 16, a live music program by Arijit Singh, organized by Plantos Venture Pvt. Ltd., will take place at the Gahunje Stadium, Maharashtra Cricket Association, within the Pimpri-Chinchwad Police Commissionerate limits. The event is expected to draw a large crowd, which may lead to traffic congestion in the vicinity, potentially creating law and order issues.

In light of this, and to ensure safe and smooth traffic flow, the following traffic adjustments are being implemented:

Route Adjustments for Spectators

• From Mumbai:

  • Turn left from the Dehu Road exit of the expressway, then turn left again and take the service road next to Mamurdi to the stadium.

  • Vehicles from the expressway should U-turn from Kiwale Bridge to Mukai Chowk and take the service road towards the stadium.

  • Turn left from Shitla Devi Mandir and follow the service road via Lekha Farm.

  • Vehicles from Central Chowk will take a left turn from Kiwale Bridge to Krishna Chowk, and proceed to parking.

  • Vehicles from the old Mumbai-Pune Highway will take a U-turn from Central Chowk to Sai Nagar Phata for parking.

  • Prohibition: Vehicles from the old Mumbai-Pune highway, Somatane Phata, underpass near Mamurdi Zakatanaka are prohibited.

• From Pune:

  • Vehicles from Pune Bangalore Highway (after Pawanadi Bridge) should turn left from Kiwale Bridge, take the service road to the stadium.

  • Vehicles from Nigdi, Hanging Bridge will turn right from Ravet Chowk, Bhondve Chowk, Krishna Chowk, and head to the stadium.

  • Only car pass holders and essential service vehicles will be allowed from Gahunje Bridge to Y Junction.

Prohibited Routes:

• Vehicles from Ruhiz Biryani in Mamurdi village to Masulkar Farm are prohibited. Alternative route: Mamurdi Zakatnaka.

• Vehicles from Marimata Chowk to Kivale Nala to Masulkar Farm side are prohibited. Alternative route: Krishna Chowk.

• After the event, vehicles are prohibited from going towards Mumbai and Kivale via Mukai Chowk and Kivale underpass. Alternative route: Left from Mukai Chowk, Sameer Lawns, Kivale village.

Closure of Heavy Vehicles:

• Entry of all heavy vehicles from Mamurdi to Kanetkar Bungalow and to Gahunje Stadium is closed from 13:00 to 24:00 hrs.

• Entry of heavy vehicles from Krishna Chowk to Mamurdi underpass and the service road adjacent to Mamurdi village to Gahunje Stadium is also closed from 13:00 to 24:00 hrs.

Appeal to Drivers:

1. Please follow the designated routes and avoid using internal roads of Mamurdi village.

2. As the service roads leading to the stadium are narrow, drivers must cooperate by driving in a single lane.
