Television actress Aditi Sharma is currently hitting the headlines after her estranged husband Abhineet Kaushik revealed that they got married in a 'secret marriage' in November 2024 but have now called it quits. He further shared that he wanted to give their marriage a second chance, but Aditi refused and, calling their marriage a 'mock trial,' even demanded Rs 25 lakh for separation.

Now, Aditi has finally broken her silence on Abhineet's claims, stating that within a month of marriage, she began facing unbearable marital disputes and severe mistreatment from him, which she could not endure, leading her to decide to part ways. Speaking to India Forums, Aditi claimed that she was 'compelled' to leave her home after being threatened by Abhineet.

"I was very scared. There are a few names from the underworld which are involved by him and his best friend. Apart from that, due to serious threats from Abhineet," she added.

Further, the actress shared that Abhineet had threatened to defame her and her family if she left him, and he is doing exactly that. As soon as she moved out of her apartment, he decided to tarnish her reputation by going to the media.

She added, "I am very apprehensive about saying anything. I'm really scared to even speak much about it. The allegations he is putting on me, I will prove everything in the court."

Aditi also denied calling their marriage a 'mock trial.' Explaining her stance, she clarified that it was a private wedding, not a secret one. "I have a decent career and we thought it wont be wise to suddenly put it out in public right now as I was also shooting for Apollena at that time and my character in the show was of an 18 year old girl. So both of us decided to not disclose it publicly," she added.
