The Chief Postmaster General of Maharashtra Circle, Amitabh Singh, has unveiled a Special Cancellation to mark India’s triumph in the Men’s Cricket Champions Trophy 2025, following a thrilling final match against New Zealand in Dubai on March 9, 2025. This Special stamp cancellation, which celebrates India’s victory in the prestigious tournament, was released on Monday at the Mumbai General Post Office.

The special cancellation highlights the national pride and sporting excellence demonstrated by the Indian cricket team in securing the Champions Trophy. The cancellation serves as a tribute to the team’s achievement and is a collector’s item for cricket enthusiasts and philatelists alike. The release ceremony was held at the Mumbai GPO where Suchita Joshi, Postmaster General, Mumbai Region, Manoj Kumar, Director Postal Services (Mails & Business Development), Maharashtra Circle and other dignitaries, officials and cricket fans gathered to celebrate this historic moment for Indian sports.
