Udit Narayan and his kissing videos have become the talk of the town. A few weeks ago, a couple of videos of him went viral on social media in which he was seen kissing his female fans at concerts who came to click selfies with him. While he was kissing fans on the cheeks, one of the female fans he kissed on lips, and the singer was getting criticized for it on social media. Now, at an event of a movie titled Pintu Ki Pappi, Udit took a dig at himself.

Pintu Ki Pappi is produced by Ganesh Acharya and recently an event was organized for the promotions of the movie. On the stage, Udit joked and told Ganesh, "Title toh change kar dena chahiye aapko. Bahot khubsurat title hai aapka, Pintu Ki Pappi; Udit Ki Pappi toh nahi? (laughs) Yeh ek itefaq hai ke yeh abhi hie release ho raha hai. (You should change the title. Your title is very beautiful, Pintu Ki Pappi; it is not Udit Ki Pappi right? (Laughs) It is coincidence that this movie is releasing now)."

He further gave a clarification that the video which went viral was 2 years old. The veteran singer said, "Waise 2 saal pehle ka video hai woh jo Australia mein hua tha. (It is a 2 years old video of what happened in Australia)."

Well, not many celebs have spoken about Udit Narayan and his kiss controversy, but a few days ago, in an interview with Hindi Rush, veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand, had said, "This is an old video, I think it is two years old video. I don't blame anybody. Abhi Ladki bhi toh aayi hai saamne, aapne aadmi ke upar kyu daromadar dal diya ke tum kyu kiss kiya. Aapke thaali mein laddoo saj ke aayenge toh aap khayenge nahi kya usko. This is not fair, just because he is Udit Narayan, you are saying 'why did he kiss?'."

When the video had gone viral, Udit had given a statement that such things happen and it is fans love towards him.
