The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the team of the tournament, a day after Champions Trophy 2025 ended. With India winning the tournament and proving themselves to be the best team amongst all, five players from the victorious side has been included. However, there are no players from Pakistan, Australia, South Africa and England.

Rachin Ravindra, adjudged as the Player of the Tournament with 263 runs will open the innings will open the innings alongside Ibrahim Zadran, Zadran, the Afghan opener, holds the record for the highest individual score as he slammed 177 against England. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer occupy the next two spots as they slammed 218 and 243 runs, respectively.

KL Rahul, who held his nerve during successful run-chases against Australia and New Zealand, occupies the keeper's spot. Glenn Phillips, who pulled off some outstanding catches and played cameos, slots at No.6, while Azmatullah Omarzai has been included at number seven due to his all-round heroics. Omarazai's performances have also catapulted him to No.1 ranking in the ICC ODI all-rounders'.

Mitchell Santner has been appointed captain, while Mohammed Shami and Matt Henry are the two pacers in the line-up. The latter finished as the highest wicket-taker with ten. Varun Chakravarthy is the second spinner in the line-up.
