Victory CC proved too good for Rajawadi CC and charged to a solid 10-wicket win in the MCA President Cup A & B Division final, played at Dadoeji Kondeo Stadium, Thane on Sunday.

Sent in to bat, Rajawadi batters struggled against the Victory CC spinners and could not stay long in the middle and get runs on the scoreboard. Number three batter Tushi Shah top-scored with 33 runs, while Victory CC leg-spinner Niyati Jagpat picked two wickets for 15 runs and off-spinner Aleena Khan took two wickets for 22 runs to restrict Rajawadi to a low total of 103 for six wickets from their 20 overs.

In response, the Rajawadi bowling attack was ineffective as the Victory CC opening batswomen batted well and scored runs freely. They crossed the finish line scoring 107 runs without losing a wicket from 15.4 overs.

Sarika Koli led the charge scoring an unbeaten 61 runs (52-balls, 9x4) and Alina Mulla was unbeaten making 38 runs (42-balls, 2 x4, 1x6) to ensure their team achieved their target with plenty to spare.
