Two Held For Youth’s Murder In Bhopal's Gandhi Nagar

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Gandhi Nagar police on Saturday arrested two of the three accused involved in sensational murder of a youth in the night on March 3. The arrested duo have escaped to Indore and were arrested from their hideout there, police officials said.

Resident of BDA Colony Adnan Khan (22) was sitting at a tea stall close to his home when Shubham Solanki, Rajkumar Solanki and Lucky, residents of same area took him with them on pretext of talking on some issue. After assaulting Adnan, they stabbed him in the stomach and fled.

Adnan was declared brought dead at the hospital and an FIR was registered against the trio who were relatives among themselves. Police on March 1 declared a reward of Rs 30,000 on the accused who were continuously evading arrest.

ACP Richa Jain said the location of Shubham and Lucky was traced to Indore and arrested them on Saturday. Efforts were underway to arrest the third accused Rajkumar Solanki, she added. Meanwhile, during police questioning the arrested accused claimed that they killed Adnan as he was harassing a girl in their family despite repeated warnings.

Burglary Attempt At Manappuram Finance Ltd Branch In Piplani

Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Unidentified miscreants attempted burglary at Manappuram Finance Limited branch near Gate number-1 of BHEL under Piplani police station limits in the wee hours on Sunday. The burglars entered the premises after cutting the iron grill.

However, they had to flee when the alarm siren rang. The burglars even cut the wires of CCTV cameras in a bid to conceal their identity. Piplani police station TI Anurag Lal said dial 100 cops reached Manappuram Finance Limited after locals called them on hearing the alarm at 5 am.

Police found that the burglars broke the locks of the shutter and have cut the iron grill to enter the premises. The burglars also cut the wires of CCTV cameras installed at the building. They could not enter bank as the alarm siren rang and alerted the locals.

The burglars fled empty-handed before police reached the spot. Primary investigation suggests that there were six burglars. Footages of CCTV cameras installed in the vicinity will be scanned to identify the escape route. It is worth mentioning that a man attempted bank loot around two months back in Piplani area using chilli spray on the staff. The accused was identified and arrested within a few hours.
