A prank video from Mumbai’s local train has taken the internet by storm, leaving viewers in splits over the unexpected chaos it caused. In the viral clip, a content creator named Pranay Joshi was seen suddenly jolting up from his seat, pointing downward with urgency, but without immediately explaining why. As soon as he jumped out of his seat, other passengers sensed something wrong and followed his actions.

What really happened? Joshi told fellow commuters he spotted something moving under the train seats. He revealed that he had seen something resembling a rat scurrying near the seat corners.

"Neeche se chuha gaya" (A rat just ran below the seats)", he told people, which was an obvious false statement that managed to trigger reactions. It naturally drew attention and created mild panic among others onboard.

Passengers react

As he stood up from his seat and rushed outwards, people wondered about his unannounced actions. In his prank video, when he playfully got up from his seat expressing restlessness and fear, a few passengers joined his actions without any question. When he revealed he probably saw something moving through the walls of the coach underneath the seats, believing it was a rat, the Instagram reel captured the reactions of passengers filled with fear.

As soon as he muttered “Neeche se chuha gaya”, passengers around him reacted instantly—some jumped off their seats, while others were seen scanning the floor cautiously to verify his claim, only to find nothing.
