Woman Raped By Hubby’s Cousin
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A man raped his sister-in-law multiple times last year while threatening her in the absence of her husband under Ratibad police station limit.
The victim informed her husband and approached police when the accused tried to rape her again two days ago. An FIR has been registered and efforts are underway to trace and arrest the accused, police said.
According to reports, the 30-year-old victim informed police that the accused Akash is the cousin brother of her husband. Akash took advantage of her husband’s absence at home and raped her on several occasions in December last year.
He issued threats to the woman asking her to keep silent about the crime. However, the victim informed her husband when Akash barged inside her home in absence of her husband two days back and tried to rape her again. Akash fled when the woman raised an alarm. The accused does odd jobs for living and is on the run.
Ex-MP Seeks SC Probe Into Encounter Of 4 Women Naxals
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): Former Member of Parliament KankarMunjare, at a press conference on Saturday, accused the Balaghat police of killing four women Naxals in a fake encounter.
Munjare claimed that the women, who were reportedly killed during a gunfight on February 19, were actually brought to the spot and gunned down in cold blood.
Munjaresaid that women's uniforms, shoes and red socks appeared to be new, which he argued indicated that they had not been part of the alleged encounter.
He said that such discrepancies suggested the killings were staged. To demand justice, Munjare announced plans to lay siege to the Vidhan Sabha on March 24, urging authorities to take action. He has urged the Supreme Court to form a committee to thoroughly investigate the matter.
