Shivangi Joshi and Mohsin Khan's fans are eagerly waiting to watch their favorite duo on-screen after they quit Rajan Shahi's hit serial Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai (YRKHH) after the makers announced a generational leap in 2021. Now, reports are doing the rounds that they will finally reunite as the lead pair in Jhanak post-leap.
While an official confirmation is awaited, according to a report in Telly Chakkar Mohsin Khan and Shivangi Joshi will reportedly take on the central roles, potentially marking the beginning of a fresh phase for Jhanak. Their pairing could introduce an entirely new dynamic to the show with their 'characters likely bringing a blend of romance, drama, and emotional complexity to the table.'
If the reports turn out to be true, it means that Shivangi will no longer be a part of Bade Achche Lagte Hain Phir Se alongside Harshad Chopda.
Bade Achche Lagte Hain aired in 2011 with Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar in the lead, which was loved by one and all. The show ended in 2014, and in 2021, the makers came up with a spiritual sequel titled Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 alongside Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar.
Reportedly, the show was earlier titled Baharein. Now, according to Gossips TV, the show is titled Bade Achche Lagte Hain Phir Se.
Meanwhile, currently Hiba Nawab and Krushal Ahuja play the lead roles in Jhanak. It is a loose adaptation of Star Jalsha's Bengali series Jol Nupur and Guddi.
