The final match of the President’s Trophy Grade 1 tournament in Pakistan is being played at an unusual time to accommodate players observing Ramzan, where participants fast from sunrise to sunset. The final is being played entirely under floodlights, with play starting at 7:30 pm PKT (8:00 pm IST) and ending at 2:30 AM PKT (3 AM IST). The match features the pink ball, making it a historic first in Pakistan’s first-class cricket.
The match schedule is split into three sessions:
The first session runs until 9:30 pm PKT (10:00 pm IST), followed by a 20-minute tea break.
The second session lasts till 11:50 pm PKT (12:20 am IST), with a 40-minute dinner break.
The final session goes on until 2:30 am PKT (3:00 am IST).

Which teams are playing the final of the President’s Trophy Grade 1 tournament?
The title clash is being played between State Bank of Pakistan and Pakistan Television at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, the same venue that was set to host a Champions Trophy 2025 match between Bangladesh and Netherlands before rain washed it out.
After two days of play Pakistan Television has put themselves in commanding position. PTV’s Muhammad Shahzad scored an unbeaten 125 to lift his side to a vital 112-run first innings lead against SBP on second day of the final. At stumps, SBP were 37 for one in 11 overs in their second innings, still trailing by 75 runs.
Earlier, resuming their first innings at the overnight score of 49 for three, PTV managed to score 317 in 89.2 overs. Shahzad’s undefeated knock came off 152 balls.
