Ultraviolette has taken a major step forward in its electric mobility journey with the unveiling of two new products at the FAST FORWARD India ’25 event in Bengaluru. The company launched the TESSERACT electric scooter and the SHOCKWAVE electric motorcycle.
The TESSERACT comes at an introductory price of Rs 1.45 lakh, with the first 10,000 buyers getting it for Rs 1.20 lakh. Meanwhile, the SHOCKWAVE is priced at Rs 1.75 lakh, but the first 1,000 customers can purchase it at a special price of Rs 1.49 lakh. With this launch, Ultraviolette aims to push the boundaries of EV technology, catering to both urban commuters and performance enthusiasts.
Ultraviolette Tesseract
Ultraviolette TESSERACT electric scooter brings advanced technology and performance-focused features to the market. It boasts a 261 km IDC-certified range and delivers a peak power output of 20 bhp (15 kW), ensuring a strong and efficient ride. One of its standout innovations is the world’s first Integrated Radar and Dashcam system with Omnisense Mirrors, enhancing safety and awareness on the road. Practicality is also a key highlight, with 34 litres of under-seat storage and 14-inch wheels for better stability. The scooter features dual projector headlights with floating DRLs for improved visibility and can be fast-charged in under an hour, making it a compelling option for urban commuters.
Ultraviolette TESSERACT sets a new benchmark in safety with its integrated radar and dashcam, a first in its segment. Paired with Omnisense mirrors, the system offers features like Blind Spot Detection, Lane Change Assist, Overtaking Assist, and real-time Collision Alerts, ensuring a safer ride. It also comes with Traction Control and Dynamic Regenerative Braking, enhancing stability while improving energy efficiency. The scooter is equipped with a 7-inch touchscreen TFT display and multi-color LED indicators on the ORVMs, providing crucial ride information and improving rider awareness.
Ultraviolette Shockwave
Ultraviolette has introduced the SHOCKWAVE, a powerful new electric motorcycle, at an introductory price of Rs 1.49 lakh for the first 1,000 buyers. Designed for performance, it delivers an impressive 505 Nm of torque at the rear wheel and produces 14.5 bhp (10.8 kW) of power. The bike offers a 165 km range on a single charge and can accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in just 2.9 seconds, making it a strong contender in the EV segment. It features spoked wheels with a 19-inch front wheel (90/90 R19 tyre) and a 17-inch rear wheel (110/90 R17 tyre), ensuring stability on varied terrains.
