A couple of weeks ago, singer Udit Narayan made it to the headlines as a video of him kissing female fans during a concert went viral. In the video, when female fans came to click selfie with him, he kissed them on the cheeks and one of the fans he kissed on the lips. It created a lot of controversies, and the singer had then given a statement that such things happen. Now, veteran actress Kunickaa Sadanand has opened up about it, and she has defended Narayan's gesture.

In an interview with Hindi Rush, Kunickaa said, "Udit Narayan ji ne kiss kiya woh thik kiya, lekin galat jagah pe kiya, gaal pe kar deta. (Udit Narayan kissed that was right, but he did at a wrong place, he should have done on cheeks)."

She further stated, "This is an old video, I think it is two years old video. I don't blame anybody. Abhi Ladki bhi toh aayi hai saamne, aapne aadmi ke upar kyu daromadar dal diya ke tum kyu kiss kiya. Aapke thaali mein laddoo saj ke aayenge toh aap khayenge nahi kya usko. This is not fair, just because he is Udit Narayan, you are saying 'why did he kiss?'."

The Hum Saath Saath Hain actress revealed that doing a stage show gives a different kind of a high to an artist. She said, "Doing stage show is a different emotion all together. You are so excited, audience is giving you so much, you are in a different high, and in those high moments sometimes you do such dance steps that you never thought of."

"I know women will trash and troll me, but why are you blaming the man, look at what women were doing. At that time, so many people are giving you adulation and admiration. So, woh ladki aayi aur unhone kiss kar diya. She shouldn't have come, and the girl didn't take any objection. Some people are saying that he was supposed to get Padma Bhushan so rivals put this video out," the veteran actress added.

A lot of celebs have spoken about Udit Narayan's kissing incident. A few days ago, in an interview Mika Singh had called quipped about the singer and called him his student.
