The Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) will organize its monthly Lokshahi Din (Democracy Day) on April 7, 2025, in accordance with Maharashtra government directives. Citizens seeking to submit grievances are advised to apply in the prescribed format in two copies by March 2, addressing the Commissioner of NMMC, with "Application for Lokshahi Din" clearly marked on the front.
Only personal grievances related to a single department and a single issue will be considered, said an officer from NMMC. Applicants must have previously approached the respective department office or head with their concerns before applying. “Complaints related to sub judice matters, revenue/appeals, service issues, or establishment-related matters will not be accepted,” the officer added. Applications that do not adhere to the prescribed format or lack supporting documents will be rejected. Additionally, grievances that are not personal in nature or have already received a final response will not be entertained.
The application format is available free of charge at the Public Relations Department, 3rd Floor, NMMC New Headquarters, Sector 15A, near Kille Gaonthan, CBD Belapur. Citizens can also download it from the official website https://nmmconline.in/ under the Quick Links section.
