Actors Ayesha Khan, Karan V Grover and Chirag Khatri's latest show, Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei, which had begun on a positive note, is now in news for all wrong reasons. The present storyline seems to have disappointed even the ardent fans of the show, and the makers are now being slammed for "promoting extra-marital affair" on screen.

In the latest episode, Ayesha's character Nikki was seen going to Akshay's (Chirag Khatri) place and spending time with him after a major showdown with her husband, Ishaan (played by Karan V Grover). In the episode, the two were seen getting close and Akshay even confessed his love for Nikki, leaving her confused.

As soon as the episode ended streaming on YouTube, netizens bombarded the comments section stating how disappointed and disgusted they were by the current track.

"I was expecting some slow burn romance genre, but it went completely down the hill with this ridiculous track," a fan commented, while another wrote, "This is outright disgusting... R u guys promoting extra-marital affairs?" "I have no hopes left from this show," another viewer wrote.

The makers are yet to address the concerns of the viewers.

For those unversed, Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei has been produced by actors Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta's production house, Dreamiyata Dramaa. It marks Ayesha's debut as a lead actress and brings back Karan V Grover to the screens once again.

Set in Punjab, the show seems to have taken a page from the Pakistani drama scenes, and it is reportedly a limited-episode series.
