Mumbai: IndiGo to launch a direct flight from Mumbai to Krabi starting from March 23. This expansion of service offers passengers a convenient travel option directly from Mumbai to Southern Thailand. This service aims to provide a hassle-free experience for passengers. Currently, IndiGo is operating six flights a week, and they have plans to increase daily flights starting from March 30. Visiting Krabi will become more convenient with the launch of direct flights from Mumbai.

After Bangkok and Phuket, Krabi will become the third Indigo destination in Thailand. An official statement was released by Vinay Malhotra, Head of Global Sales at IndiGo. He said, “We are extremely pleased to introduce direct flights from Mumbai to Krabi, further strengthening connectivity between India and Thailand.” This new route is part of IndiGo's plans to enhance connectivity to southern Thailand from Mumbai, making travel to Krabi easier for passengers, as cited by Lokmat Times.

Recently, Jharsuguda also gained a direct air link with Mumbai, as IndiGo began its daily flight service between the two cities on Saturday. The inaugural flight from Mumbai arrived at Veer Surendra Sai Airport in Jharsuguda with 122 passengers on board and was greeted with a ceremonial water cannon salute.

The return flight to Mumbai departed with 92 passengers. The new service was officially inaugurated by Jharsuguda MLA Tankadhar Tripathy, alongside the Airport Director, Airports Authority of India (AAI) officials, and IndiGo representatives.
