Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): RSS Sarsangh chalak Mohan Bhagwat has said there are many ideologies in the society. “We have to go along with those whose ideologies are different from ours,” he said. Bhagwat made the statement at the inaugural session of the full-time workers’ practice session of Vidya Bharti in Bhopal on Tuesday.

He said the organisation should work for the welfare of everyone in the society, instead of working for only one group of people or community. Before bringing about changes in the society, an individual should change himself, Bhagwat said.

Education should be such that builds the character of every individual, he said, adding that the world is looking towards India, so education should be given a humane touch.

According to Bhagwat, technology has influenced every place, so its policy should be prepared with a humane touch. What is wrong in modern science should be given up, he said.

Changes are a must according to needs of the hour, but one should keep away from sitting idle, Bhagwat said. Men bring about changes with the help of their thoughts, so they should ensure that the changes are positive, he said.

Laying emphasis on the salient features of Indian culture, he said, “India has always worked for uniting all human beings, despite their differences, and we have to uphold this tradition.”

The Indian philosophy has always highlighted that every individual should understand that he is an inseparable part of the society, Bhatwat said. “So, we must work towards this direction,” he said.
