The State Child Rights Protection Commission has awarded government officers with the prestigious Balsnehi Awards - 2024 for their exceptional work in the field of child protection. The awards were presented at the Yashwantrao Chavan Pratishthan in Mumbai on Monday.

District Collector of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar district and District Women and Child Welfare Officer Reshma Chimindre were awarded the Balsnehi Awards.

Women and Child Welfare Minister Aditi Tatkare, Minister of State Meghna Bordikar, Minister of State Pankaj Bhoyar, MLA Sanjay Kelkar, MLA Manisha Kayande, Additional Director of Police Ashwati Dorje, former Commission of the Commission Prashant Narnavare, Secretary Laxman Raut, and other dignitaries presented the awards.

Additional Secretary Vandana Jain, Education Officer Madhuri Bhosale, Member Nilima Chavan, Jayashree Palve, Sayali Palkhedkar, Sanjay Singal, Chaiyanya Purandare, and other officers were present.

A booklet on the rules of child protection and posters to create awareness about it were released by the dignitaries.

Private self-help groups working in the field of child rights protection were also felicitated on the occasion.

Swami and Chimindre were felicitated for their excellent work for women and child welfare.
