One of them was his niece Simar Bhatia who is all set to make her debut with Sriram Raghavan's Ikkis which also stars Agastya Nanda in the lead role. Now, recently, at an award function, Simar made her first appearance at the red carpet along with Akshay.

She surely stole the show, and netizens are going gaga over this Mama-Bhanji jodi. A netizen commented, "What pretty girl." Another Instagram user wrote, "She looks like him.. sharp and classy." But today I know the happiness of seeing your child’s photo here beats everything. I wish my mom was here today and she would have said ‘Simar puttar Tu tah Kamaal hai’.
