Raipur: The State Budget for the financial year 2025-26 reflects a strong commitment to inclusive development, social welfare, and infrastructure growth. It strategically supports farmers, enhances rural and urban housing, and strengthens public welfare schemes with significant funding across essential sectors.

The highest allocation is 12% to the School Education Department, followed by 10% to the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, 8% to Agriculture, and 5% each to the Public Works, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection, Home, and Women and Child Development Departments.

The Public Health and Family Welfare Department receives 4%, while the Energy, Urban Administration and Development, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Revenue, and Forest Departments each receive 2-3%.
