Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A 31-year-old auto driver was found hanging in his room in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior on Sunday night. authorities found and reported the body. Sources say that the man came home on Sunday afternoon after work and went to his room directly.
When his brother went in to call him, he found the man hanging. Scared, he informed the police and other family members. A team of police officers with forensic officials arrived at the scene. No suicide note has been discovered at the scene. The reason behind the suicide remains unknown.
According to information, the deceased, identified as 31-year-old Kushagra Srivastava, was a resident of the TPT Line Mohanpur area under the Murar police station in Gwalior. Sources revealed that Kushagra worked as an auto driver in the city and did not show any visible signs of distress.
On Sunday, Kushagra left home in the morning for work and returned in the afternoon. Later in the evening, he went to his room. When his younger brother, Abhishek Srivastava, went to call him, he found Kushagra hanging from the ceiling. Hearing Abhishek’s cries, family members rushed to the spot and tried to rescue him. However, he was already dead.
Reason remains unknown
The family immediately informed the police, who arrived at the scene and sent the body for postmortem. Police searched the room but did not find a suicide note. Police have filed a case, and further investigations into the matter are underway. The reason as to why Kushagra took this extreme step remains a mystery.
